Artist statement

I believe in sustainability. Therefore I primarily work with repurposed materials and yarns. Their qualities and colours inspire me to reflect on the nature and people around me as well as the beauty of our Planet.

I use traditional handicraft techniques like crochet, quilting, hand stitching and machine embroidery. In my work I often mix these techniques or use a free form version of them.
